Story: The movie starts in Greece linking with an interesting backdrop of Lord Krishna's ancient history. Then the lead character Karthik is introduced as a doctor who tries to find solutions to unanswered questions. How he's connected to the ancient history of Lord Krishna's incarnation and what is the actual mystery behind it forms the rest of the story.

Analysis: The movie opens Very well with the director showing the ancient history of Lord Krishna. After that hero's introduction was also done effectively. The narration gets more interesting when the scene shifts to Dwaraka.

The director was able to maintain the mystery part very well. Anupama's entry into the plot and the flashback of Lord Krishna are told by animation like in the first part which creates the right impact.

Krishna Thatakam's episode before the interval was superbly done with perfect lead and terrific impact. Thereby first half ends on a high note with more expectations for the second half.

The second half starts with more clues which lead the audience to more characters and more turns towards the actual mystery. Though the narration wanders for some time, the terrific pre-climax where the Director explains the greatness of Lord Krishna takes the movie again back on track. After that director handled the episodes toward climax well albeit with a senseless touch though.

Performances: Nikhil was good enough in the title role. Anupama Parameswaran too made her presence felt in a nonregular heroine role. Srinivasa Reddy and Viva Harsha were adequate. Anupam Kher was excellent in a cameo role. Aditya Menon did not get the right character.

Technical: Visuals were extravagantly combined with exotic locales. The background score was terrific and was a surprising package. Dialogues are neat.

What works for the movie:

Interesting plot

Impactful narration

Anupam Kher episode

Background score

What didn't work for the movie:

Ineffective Villain

Few dull moments in the second half

Final Word: Overall, the Director made the adventurous thriller with a conviction to a large extent but could have handled the entire main Villain's track much better which diluted his intention a bit.
