The Telugu Film Producers Council comprising people like yalamanchili Naveen, Dil Raju, etc. met yesterday to drive the ongoing issues in Tollywood to completion and the meeting seems to have resulted in a fruitful outcome as the shootings are now set to resume from the 1st of September. To this extent, producer Dil Raju has spoken to the media and also added that in the case earlier resumption is required, they could write a letter to the council and start as early as the 25th of August.
The only open issue which would require a final
round of discussion is the VPF issue he added, and also announced that he along
with producers like Geetha arts and N V Prasad will not be charging VPF from
exhibitors from the 1st of September. Further details will be announced
officially on the 30th of August the producer concluded.
Much to the delight of the audience, he added that
they have also discussed the cost of food and beverages in theatres and that
they are contemplating the reduction in prices. While this is great news, this
may not be a decision that would impact prices in multiplexes which is the
actual reason for the huge outcry on the prices.
Overall, the buzz in the film circles with shoots
and updates is about to resume and we will make sure you can’t get enough of
them with our super-fast updates.
